Gemtesa/vibegron -success!- for incontinence/OAB after sling surgery

Thought I would share my results of adding Gemtesa/vibegron after sling surgery and RP.

My history is basically: RP, severe stress incontinence, recurrent PCa at 10 months, sling surgery one year after RP, severe urgency incontinence from the sling (opposite of stress incontinence). Started Gemtesa/vibegron for urgency incontinence about 3 months after sling surgery.

I went from Depends plus thick pads (many per day) after RP, to just thick pads after sling surgery... to maybe a liner and usually nothing at all after starting Gemtesa.

Gemtesa is only indicated for urgency incontinence, so I'm not sure if it will work for stress incontinence, like most of us have from RP. I do wonder if it might have helped me BEFORE the sling surgery, but I'll never know. It was never mentioned to me before sling surgery. I did try oxybutinin several times after RP, and I didn't think it helped and it made me feel terrible. If anyone tries Gemtesa for stress incontinence, please let us all know!

As far as side effects, I am on ADT/hormone therapy for recurrent PCa, so it's hard for me to distinguish what drug is causing what side effect. I do have a lot of nausea, fatigue, achiness, etc., which could be from lupron, Xtandi, and/or Gemtesa. Lupron and Xtandi alone caused me lots of side effects before adding Gemtesa. If anyone else has experience with Gemtesa alone, it would be helpful to hear from them.
