Bill - I just read Peter Rabbit by Thornton Burgess a 1919 edition with brittle pages and I couldn't help but think that I could hear you reading it to little kids. It just sounded like how you write on this forum. I used to read the tales of Peter Rabbit to my kids and grandkids and there's a lot of wisdom packed into those stories.

Hi @ritanofsinger, I think your observation is very interesting!! I don't think I've read Thornton Burgess' stories since the days when my dad read them to me! And that wasn't exactly yesterday but I'm sure we had a somewhat newer version than the 1919 edition!!! I'll want to find a Thornton Burgess book and read now that you've got my curiosity piqued!!!
