  • This is what I have put together and review periodically to remind myself as my memory is fading and I sometimes do not get the sequences correct leading to frustration and accidents.

Evening diaper change
  • Lay out changing pad from the nightstand
  • Put powder on the nightstand and open cap
  • Take 2 wipes out of the nightstand and put on top of powder cap; close wipe pack
  • Pull diaper rash ointment out of nightstand and open if needed
  • Go into bathroom and take off clothes down to the diaper / plastic panty
  • Get a 2X large plastic panty out of second left drawer
  • Get a pair of 3-point Snap-Eze fastener from top drawer sink vanity
  • Get a XL contour diaper from the top shelf of the closet stand
  • Get 3 flat diapers from the second shelf of the stand
  • Get a XL booster pad from the third shelf of the stand
  • Take diapers, panty and fastener into the bedroom and lay next to the changing pad
  • Unfold the 1st flat diaper on the far half of the changing pad in a square
  • Fold the flat diaper in a slight “A” shape wider at the back
  • Fold the 2 flat diapers in a kite fold with the booster pad in the middle on top of the folded flat diapers
  • Lay down on the top half of the changing pad so leaks from the wet diaper do not soak the new one
  • Pull the plastic panty down just enough to get the Sanp-Eze fastener off
  • Leaving the wet diaper in the plastic panty, slip off the diaper and panty together and place on the nightstand (Unfasten the top diaper tabs if a disposable)
  • Clean the wet / messy areas with wipes then put the used wipes on top of the removed wet diaper / panty on the nightstand
  • Lift up from pad and carefully pull the made-up diaper up under rear to the small of the back
  • Spread legs and apply diaper rash ointment where needed
  • Powder over the diaper area and wherever the plastic panty touches the skin
  • Pull the front of the diaper up between the legs to just above the belly button
  • Attach the left-hand Snap-Eaze claw to the left diaper wing and stretch towards the front middle
  • Attach the right-hand Snap-Eaze claw to the right diaper wing and stretch towards the middle
  • Pull the middle Snap-Eaze claw to the middle of the diaper a couple inches down from the top
  • Adjust diaper for best fit as needed
  • Pull on the 2X large plastic panty making sure it covers the entire diaper in the back
  • Unless wetted or soiled during the change, fold up and put the changing pad back in the nightstand
  • Close the top on the powder and put it away in the nightstand
  • Close the top and put the diaper rash ointment in the nightstand
  • Take the wet diaper and plastic panty into the bathroom
  • Put the wet cloth diaper in the bathtub and run hot water to rinse; let it drain there overnight
  • If a disposable, fold and put in the diaper pail
  • Rinse the plastic panty and hang it up to dry
  • Throw the used wipes away in the diaper pail
  • Take night-time pills
  • Apply Neosporin, eye drops, Benadryl etc. as needed
  • Brush teeth
  • Wash face
